Jason Isbell kicks ass
Seeing Jason for my eight time or so did not disappoint. He continues to improve with each outing. He and his band rocked the house in Oakland for 2 1/2 hours with his unique musical blend. Jason's mixture of Muscle Shoals sound, Americana, roots, and searing guitar solos left me, as always, as a bigger fan than when I arrived. Fantastic! I look forward to his next show and am sorry he will be missing the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival this year. Good luck with the new baby, Jason and Amanda. Hope to see the three of you out on the road soon!
